Why get travel vaccinations?

Travelling can put you at risk of picking up infectious diseases that we don’t have here in Australia. So protect yourself and get the right travel health advice, including medications and vaccinations, before you leave.

Our on-site Nurse Practitioner can prescribe and provide travel vaccinations for diseases such as:

And we can also help with preventatives and medicines for common holiday concerns including:

  • traveller’s diarrhoea
  • sea sickness, car sickness, airplane discomfort and other forms of travel sickness or motion sickness
  • altitude sickness
  • deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or blood clots.

Other vaccines & boosters

You can also get your vaccinations and boosters for a range of other preventable illnesses. Many of these diseases are common in Australia so it’s a good idea for your whole family to get the available vaccines.

Vaccinations include:

Many of these vaccinations are part of the National Immunisation Program, which means they are free for children and at-risk adults.

We can give you vaccines for travelling to Africa, vaccinations for South America, vaccinations for Bali and vaccines and other travel advice for wherever you are going – near or far.

How far out do I need to get vaccinated?

Lots of vaccines can be given in the few days before you leave. However, it’s best to check in 6 to 8 weeks before you go. That gives you plenty of time to get booster shots if required and leave those last few days for packing your suitcase.

Can I get a yellow fever shot?

Yes! We are an approved yellow fever vaccine centre. No running around and no multiple stops. Being a pharmacy and a clinic we can also supply you with any other incidentals you’ll need on your trip.

How much do travel vaccinations cost?

Medicare rebates are available for some services and the price varies depending on the vaccine. Vaccinations covered by the National Immunisation Program are free.

So, travel with the peace of mind that you have the best protection possible from disease, illness, or other trip-ruining issues. We cover any destination around the globe, such as:

  • Africa
  • South America
  • Bali and Indonesia
  • Vietnam
  • Thailand
  • Japan
  • India
  • South-east Asia
  • Anywhere around the world!
